I would like to invite you to the International Workshop on DDoS Attacks and Defenses (DDoS A&D). As you may be aware of, the Korean government and IT security web sites were significantly affected by DDoS attacks three times from Jul. 7th to 9th, 2009. We call this 77DDoS attack in Korea. The similar attacks were also launched to several web sites in the US government at the same duration. Considering the prevalence of botnets and DDoS attacks, researchers are thriving to build safer Internet. As the leading higher education institution in science and engineering, KAIST  is now organizing "International Workshop on DDoS Attacks and Defenses" on Sep. 29th to 30th, 2009 at KAIST IT convergence campus (KAIST-ICC), Daejeon, Korea.

I hope we can see you at this workshop that will be a very fruitful congregation in identifying recent advances and future technology in DDoS attacks and defenses. Thank you.
